Edmonton/Calgary combined Arrivals/Departures is a training position for S3 students actively training for their C1 rating. It was created to give the S3 student more experience controlling the multiple Class C airfields in the Edmonton FIR before expanding to the remaining Class C, Class D and numerous Class E airfields in the Southern Domestic Airspace. It comprises CYYC and CYEG terminal airspace and a SFC-FL280 corridor between Edmonton and Calgary. This position can only be controlled with authorization from Edmonton CZEG Executive staff and is open only for S3 students certified to control it. CZEG_APP is responsible top-down for CYEG, CYYC, CZVL, CYBW and CYQF.

This does not attempt to simulate a real-world position. It is a training position specific to the purposes stated above.
