Edmonton (CZEG) FIR controls 8,089,000 square kilometres of airspace with a 23,948 km lateral border.

CZEG borders: CZVR Vancouver, KZSE Seattle, KZLC Salt Lake, PAZA Anchorage, BIRD Reykjavik, NUUK Greenland, CZQO Gander Oceanic, CZUL Montreal, CZYZ Toronto and CZWG Winnipeg.

In addition to CZEG airspace, Edmonton (LOA) also controls 1,400,000 square kilometres of high-level airspace inside the Winnipeg CZWG FIR controlling FL290 and above for the HUDSON, SEVERN and THOMPSON sectors. CZEG is also responsible for 20,192 square kilometres of high-level airspace inside the CZVR Vancouver airspace controlling FL250 and above in the Cranbrook Extension.
